When is the check-in and check-out time?
Our normal check-in is 4:00pm and check-out at 11:00am. Our housekeepers are on a tight schedule and often need the full five hours in between guests. However, if you have a special request, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you if we can.
Are pets allowed?
Some of our properties are dog-friendly. At these homes, we request that Fido not be left unattended in the house (crating is fine as this will help them feel safe and secure in an unfamiliar environment) or allowed on the furniture or beds. Also, upon departure, we would appreciate if you cleaned up any “presents” left in the yard or surrounding areas. There is an additional pet fee per dog (2 dog maximum). We cannot accommodate cats or other pets and no pets are allowed at our non-pet-friendly properties.
How do I place a reservation?
You can call our office directly at 503-297-4090 or book online by clicking the blue “Get My Quote” button located at the top right of the page for the property you would like to secure. Once you submit your request, you will receive a confirmation from us momentarily. A rental agreement will be emailed for your review and signature and your payment information will be confirmed. We request that you carefully read the agreement as it details our policies and addresses potential additional charges. Please clarify any questions you may have prior to finalizing your reservation.
Both credit cards and e-check payments are accepted, with a 2.5% discount given for e-check payments. A 30% deposit is required to secure your dates, with the remainder due 60 days prior to arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
- If canceled 60 days or more prior to check-in, 100% refund of deposit less a $100 cancellation fee.
- If canceled within 60 days prior to check-in, Starfish Vacation Rentals will attempt to re-rent the property for your dates reserved. If successful, the amount recouped will be credited back to you less a $100 cancellation fee. There will be no refund if Starfish Vacation Rentals is unable to re-rent your dates.
- We do not refund payments or adjust your reserved dates for weather-related events or other acts of God beyond our control.

How do I access the home?
Most of our homes are equipped with an electronic lock. Your personal door code will populate XX number of days prior to check in.
What kind of amenities can I expect to find upon arrival?
Each property comes with a well-equipped kitchen filled with dishware, cookware, a coffee maker, and commonly used spices. Ample quality linens, bath and beach towels are provided. Free Wi-Fi is standard and most homes also include cable-equipped flat screen TVs, DVD players, and docking stations for Smartphones and iPods. Additionally, we provide a generous supply of paper goods, laundry, dishwasher, and liquid dish soap, spa soaps, a hair dryer, and a welcome basket full of coastal treats.
