The most common trail up this mountain is a three-mile round-trip path to the summit viewing point. This trail is moderately difficult, and features a 900-feet elevation gain. Another popular trail is the Cape Falcon Trail, which is over two miles long. This is considered to be a moderately difficult trail as well, but the view is worth the walk! On a clear day, you can see all the way to Tillamook Head from one direction and Cape Lookout from the other!

Nehalem Bay State Park

This trail is moderate in terms of difficulty, so guests who are not experienced hikers may find this more of a challenge. While this trail is open year-round, it is best hiked from March until November.
